New head coach Eric Lang is looking to build a juggernaut at his alma mater American International (AIC). And, he knows only one way to do it, the way he learned from Brian Riley. Riley is Army’s head coach–the place Lang spent the past four seasons as an assistant.
“[It’s] often like the blueprint was here when we were at Army, when I was with Riles. We brought in a big class and we started to teach them how to play the right way and make sure our habits and concepts were good. That’s where we’re at in the process for us is making sure that we defend the right way, we play the right way, we don’t cut corners and we don’t cheat it anywhere.”
